The University of Iowa is taking deliberate steps to reduce the risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus for our students, faculty, and staff, as well as our surrounding community. Units that can continue to effectively work remotely will be encouraged to continue to do so in order to reduce the overall density of people on campus.
The Office of the President is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are limiting the numbers of staff in the office on any given day so we can maintain social distance for our employees and do our part to reduce the overall campus density. Because of our limited in-person staffing, the office will be available virtually from noon to 1 pm every day.
Our main phone line at 319.335.3549 will be answered during normal business hours – Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
