The President's Forums were established to allow the University President to provide an update on key activities across the university and in essence give a State of the Union Address to the administrative structure of the university. Topics covered at each forum include university budget and outlook, matters of importance regarding state government institutions including the Board of Regents, the Legislature, and the Governor’s Office, and updates on gift giving through the Foundation. The University President gives a short presentation following these updates on programs across campus and is linked generally to the guest unit speaker at each forum. Guest speakers are chosen to provide an overview of their activities and advancements. Collectively, the forums bring administrative personnel together across all colleges and administrative units to celebrate the advances of our university and the outstanding accomplishments of their colleagues.
